In this episode we speak with 92 year old Charles. Charles served in the army, is an ex-accountant and is a wonderful neighbour who shares many life stories, past and present. While in retirement Charles also kindly offered to edit our daughters book NeeNee the Dolphin who Thought and Thought. Here we speak with Charles about his experience through the current pandemic.

This gentleman is a legend! It was such a pleasure to listen to this podcast and every bit of wisdom that Charles so eloquently imparts. People like Charles were and are rare to find. There’s no match in this day and age of the internet to sitting, learning and gaining from the time and experience of such a wise man.
I’m extremely saddened that he has left this world. I was so keen to meet him in person after things ease and to gain more from his personality and what a personality he had. So pragmatic, no nonsense and he saw the world for what it was. It goes to show what life experiences teach you and how much we can learn from gems like him. He will truly be missed but I’m very fortunate to have been introduced to Charles via Mahnaz albeit virtually.
